The chemical and physical properties of PA6 resin are very similar to nylon 66, however, it has a low melting point and a wide process temperature range. It has better impact resistance and solubility resistance than nylon 66 plastic, but it is also more hygroscopic. Because many quality characteristics of plastic parts are affected by the hygroscopicity, it is necessary to fully consider this when designing products with nylon 6. In order to improve the mechanical properties of nylon 6, various modifiers are often added. For example, carbon fiber can increase the toughness and wear resistance of PA6 granules.

Themoplastic LFT PA6 long carbon fiber material has high rigdity,good impact strength,low warpage,low shrinkage,electrical conductivity and electrical properities,and its mechanical properities are better than glass fiber series.Long carbon fiber has the characteristics of lighter and more convenient processing to replace metal products.
The length of long fibers is 5-25mm after special processing and resin infiltration, which is more advantageous than 1-2mm of short fibers. Moreover, the long fiber particles are ordered in the order of arrangement, so the homogeneity of the long fibers is higher.
1.Are there any special process requirements of PA6 long carbon fiber injection molding products?
A:We must consider the requirements of PA6 long carbon fiber for the injection molding machine screw nozzle,mold structure and injection molding process.Long carbon fiber is a relatively high cost material,and need toevaluate the cost performance problem in the selection process.
2.The cost of long fiber products is higher.Does it has a high recycling value?
A:The thermoplastic LFT long carbon fiber material can be recycled and reused very well.
3.If a product is easily deformed,can the long fiber material can solve the problem by replacing with a long fiber reinforced thermoplastic?
A:Long glass fiber and long carbon fiber features low warpage and dimensional stability,which can improve part of the deformation.
