PBT granule is one of the toughest engineering thermoplastic materials.PBT product good at chemical stability,mechinecial strength,electrial insulation propertis and thermal stability.The PBT materials have good stability under widely environment conditions.Because of the electrial insulation propertise the pbt resin are widely use in electronic appliances.Of course,PBT resin can also use in machinery parts.

PBT resin is baddly in absorb wette,but if add the long fiber such as long glass fiber or long carbon fiber can improve the properties.Mix pbt raw material and long glass fiber, and impregnate through the tool to get the long strip of pbt lengthened glass fiber，and then cut into a desired length as required.

Injection molding process conditions

Drying treatment: PBT material is easily hydrolyzed at high temperature, so the drying treatment before processing is very important. The recommended drying conditions in air are 120C, 6 ~ 8 hours, or 150C, 2 ~ 4 hours. Humidity must be less than 0.03%. If drying with a hygroscopic dryer, the recommended condition is 150C, 2.5 hours
Melting temperature: 225 ~ 275C, recommended temperature: 250C. Mold temperature: 40^60C for unreinforced materials. The cooling cavity of the mold should be well designed to reduce the bending of the plastic parts. The heat is lost-it must be fast and even. It is recommended that the diameter of the mold cooling cavity be 12 mm.
