About PA12-LCF Materials

The basis compounds for PA12-CF, a form of carbon-filled Nylon, is polyamide 12. Other names for PA12 include Nylon 12 and polycaprolactone. Excellent chemical resistance, minimal moisture absorption, and high dimensional stability are all characteristics of PA12-CF. Additionally, it has exceptional impact resistance, fatigue resistance, and flexibility. Different amounts of carbon fiber, such as 20%, 40%, or 60%, may be found in PA12-CF. Strength and rigidity increase with increasing carbon fiber content while flexibility and impact resistance decrease.
