Long Glass fiber Reinforced Polyamide Nylon PA12

LFT Long Glass fiber Reinforced Polypropylene PA12 is a 20%-60% long glass fiber reinforced  PA12, made by extrusion process, melt impregnated fiber and matrix resin. Long glass fiber reinforced materials provide this composite with greater stiffness, strength and durability. The mechanical properties of the composite make it useful for a wide range of applications in a variety of market segments, as a lightweight alternative to metals or as an engineering alternative to other materials.

The long glass fiber composite starts from the continuous filament of the fiber. We melt-impregnate the thermoplastic polymer in the extrusion process to form a high-performance bond, and then cut into 10-12MM composite particles for easy injection or extrusion plastic tooling then.

During processing, these longer fibers are interwoven and aligned to form an internal fiber skeleton that reinforces the polymer, helping to carry and dissipate stress - greatly increasing strength and impact resistance.
