PA GF50 natural is a 50% short galss fiber materials base on PA66 alloy.while PA LGF50 natural is the corresponding 50% long glass fiber material. From the comparison of physical properties,we can see that the rigidity, strength and modulus have been improved to a certain extent. In particular, the notch impact performance has been a qualitative leap.
-After thermal aging at a high temperature of 150℃ for 5000 hours, the tensile strength of long glass fiber material decreased from 290MPa to 210MPa, while the tensile strength of short glass fiber decreased from 260MPa to 125MPa. The rigidity retention rate of long glass fiber is better than that of short glass fiber, and long glass fiber has stronger thermal aging resistance ability.
-The creep properties are affected by time, temperature and load. Under 120℃ and 40MPa load, the creep properties of PA66 long glass fiber 50% are obviously better than that of short glass fiber. This is important for parts with long term static pressure. When short fiberglass cannot meet the requirements, long fiberglass can be used.
-Shrinkage rate is very important to the size of parts. The transverse shrinkage rate of short glass fiber material is much higher than the longitudinal shrinkage rate, and the anisotropy is more serious, which leads to the size of parts is difficult to control and the shrinkage is obvious. While long glass fiber materials have very similar horizontal and longitudinal shrinkage rates, showing isotropy, improving the risk of part warping and easier size control.
