Glass-filled polymers are strong and have strong mechanical properties. First, the analytical strength is generally interpreted from the three dimensions of tensile strength, flexural strength and impact strength. For example, glass fiber filled PP, the obtained PP GF polymer, the higher the glass fiber content, the better the performance, we can refer to the following TDS, from the following table, we can know that when the glass fiber content is 60%, the mechanical properties will show Relatively stable, that is to say, the mechanical properties will not become very strong due to the increase in the content of glass fiber. Therefore, the content of glass fiber is generally between 20% and 60%, and a cost-effective polymer material can be obtained.
LFT-G company is committed to the development and production of long fiber filled polymers, that is, compared with ordinary glass filled polypropylene polymers, the production process and performance are different. First, we apply impregnated glass fiber to extrude long strips, and then cut into strips particles with a length of about 12mm; secondly, due to the orderly arrangement of glass fibers during the impregnation process, the tensile strength becomes higher and the mechanical properties are also improved. The disadvantage is that the material length is too short, which will affect the mechanical properties, so it is not suitable for the point casting process. Suitable for parts, auto parts, furniture parts, etc. that require structural performance.
